Jingle Bells – J. Pierpont – arranged by William Berry
Recorded by Clarion on their 2013 Reindeer Games album

This extreme reworking of the ubiquitous winter song revisits the lyrics with an ear toward depicting the storyline of irresponsible teenage risk-taking behavior driven by the desire to land a date before landing in a snowbank. The instruments portray everything from dogs barking as they run alongside the sleigh to the trees in the landscape flying by. The breakneck orchestration for brass takes the audience on the wildest sleigh ride they will ever survive.
