An original work for brass choir and vibraphone by William Berry, this piece starts with a hopeful, introspective painting of winter dawn and gives way to an ever-building dance of joy for the day to come. Two trumpet parts, two flugelhorn parts, and the percussionist plays vibes. Somewhat difficult because of the mixed meters and long trumpet lines.
